Alonzo King LINES Ballet’s Pre-Professional and Advanced Summer Programs attract gifted artists from across the nation and abroad, seeking to be challenged and transformed both physically and artistically. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the next generation of ballet professionals.

The artists perform a variety of premiere works by esteemed choreographers – including former LINES company dancers and current faculty Gregory Dawson, David Harvey, Nicholas Korkos, Dexandro Montalvo, Carmen Rozestraten, Liv Schaffer, Kara Wilkes, and Erin Yen – that leaves audiences energized and inspired.

Guided by the groundbreaking vision of Alonzo King, a pioneer of contemporary ballet, the LINES Ballet Summer Program invites ballet and contemporary dancers to explore the limitless potential of movement and artistry. The program is rooted in King’s philosophy that dance is a profound act of discovery – connecting mind, body, and spirit.

The LINES Ballet Summer Program is an immersive training experience in a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment, focusing on students’ dreams, goals, and aspirations.

Students train with LINES artists, renowned guests, and choreographers who embody King’s belief in the dancer as both scientist and poet: precise, expressive, and unafraid to take risks. “LINES Ballet Summer Programs Return With 234 Dancers And Public Performances” “LINES Ballet Summer Programs Return With 234 Dancers And Public Performances: Alonzo King’s Program, Now In Its 26th Year, Presents Two Public Performances At The Cowell Theater In San Francisco,” by Stephi Wild (BroadwayWorld, May 19, 2026) Experience the beauty and artistry of extraordinary young dancers from across the U.S. at Alonzo King LINES Ballet Pre-Professional and Advanced Summer Program Showcases. \n
